This article is the first in a series of articles that will
scrutinize, expose, and examine so-called idiot proof
diets.
The first Plan that we will be examining: fat loss 4 idiots.
The fat loss 4 idiots diet consists of seven basic steps:
(1) eating 4 meals a day; (2) alternating between carbs and
protein intake; (3) cooking your own meals in your home; (4)
drinking plenty of water; (5) exercise in the form of
walking, (6) eliminating sweets; (7) eating only until you
are satisfied not full.
This diet plan, much like name suggests. is very easy to
follow. You'll receive a diet generator that creates daily
meal plans for you. The diet boasts that by eating these
meals you'll lose 9 pounds every 11 days.
So, what is the bad news, what can't you eat? The plan
forbids starchy carbohydrates like bread, pasta, and
potatoes. However, you are allowed to eat some carbs, this
is definitely not the Atkins diet. Other bad news, alcohol
is generally excluded, however, you are allowed one glass of
wine daily. Finally, while there are no calorie
restrictions or portion limits, you all are told to eat only
until satisfied not full
Does it work? The research that I've done shows that a
majority of the people that use the diet like their supposed
to, actually lose weight. I've scoured chat rooms, forums,
google, yahoo, msn, and other search engines. By and large,
the overall response is positive.
The Fat Loss 4 Idiots Diet, however, has its detractors.
Some people complain that the diet becomes repetitive and
bland after a while. You know what they say, you can't
please all the people all the time. This is a diet people.
If it was completely pain-free and fun and easy to be called
a vacation. And remember you work out and diet in order to
go on vacation.
The bottom line: this diet plan is a success. The people
who follow it to lose weight. By and large majority people
who follow the diet lost on average three to 6 pounds per
