Part-3 Study recently reported that dieters on high protein
diet are more satisfied, less hungry, and experienced weight
loss when fat was decreased to 20% of the total calories in
the diet, protein was increased to 30%, and carbohydrates
was on50%. The participants according to study ate some
441 fewer calories a day when they followed this
high-protein diet and controlled their own calorie intake.
Another study, reported in the Journal of Nutrition, showed
that a high-protein diet when combined with exercise
improved weight and fat loss and enhanced blood fat (lipid)
levels.
Research shows that higher-protein diets help people control
their appetites better and calorie intake. "Diets higher in
protein and moderate in carbohydrates, combine with a
lifestyle of consistent regular exercise have excellent
potential to decrease blood lipids (fat ) and lean tissue
is maintain while burning fat for fuel without dieters
being distracted with regular hunger.
Protein is required in all stages of our lives, for some of
the body functions. It is the main component of all cells,
and this include, muscle and bone. Protein is important and
necessary for growth, development, and immunity to protect
the body and fight off infection.
High protein diet aids in weight loss. Study believed that a
high protein diet, low in carbohydrates helps or aid in
burning more calories when the body convert protein to
glucose, this process is known as gluconeogenesis.
The weight loss is fast and rapid during the initial stages
on a high protein diet, however the loss is caused or due to
a loss of body fluids. Protein and carbohydrates both help
hold water in cells. During the high protein diet there is a
loss of protein and carbohydrate stores are virtually
emptied. When lost from the body these nutrients draw water
and extra weight from the body but fat stores are hardly
changed.
Eating high protein foods only also restricts food choices
there is less type of foods to choose from. Eating the same
foods every meal dulls the palate and encourages people to
eat less .Motivate yourself to eat different varieties to
get all nutrients required for a healthy diet and decrease
any chances of nutrition being deficient that will occur. To
increase your metabolism beyond its normal rate is the
fastest way to succeed in losing excess stored body fat.
Research study suggests that higher-protein diets assist
people to control their appetites and calorie intake,
better. Diets higher in protein and moderate in

dieters being sidetracked of/ distracted with constant
hunger."
Researchers don't understand exactly how protein works to
turn down appetite. They believe that it may be because a
high-protein diet causes the brain to receive lower levels
of appetite-stimulating hormones. - 15668
