This Season's Favorite Things from Oprah

If you have heard of Oprah you know that the most popular
show Oprah does each year is her "Season's Favorite Things"
show which is usually around Thanksgiving each year. Fans
will do just about anything to get the sacred golden ticket
be on this special show. The audience can find out first
hand what the season's favorite things are while Oprah
shares with the studio and television audience several of
her favorite things, no matter what they are or what the
cost.
The audience members literally have gifts thrown at them and
are showered with gifts each holiday episode. Some audience
members have received over $10,000 worth of gifts. Each time
this show airs, it is one of the highest rated shows on TV
and the reason is obvious.
When a companies product is picked to be on Oprah's
"Season's Favorite Things" show, they warn the companies,
"You are going to get slammed". One company said that for 6
weeks they could not even get a phone call out from their
business, the phone lines were that busy, along with the
thousands of internet orders they received.
Gifts totaling from $4000 to $15,000 are given away to every
member of the audience and there is one thing that all the
gifts have in common. As soon as the products appear on
Oprah's show, the demand for these products goes wild and
the viewers at home begin to look as to where they can find
these items.
Last fall Oprah's favorite things included of a list of 20
products as it usually does. Of the 20 times in last year's
show, one in particular has been on two other favorite
things shows. Can you remember what the product was? What

All the gifts that are featured on Oprah's "seasons Favorite
Things" show are donated by the manufacturers. The know
that as soon as it is mentioned on Oprah's show people will
be calling, buying it on the internet or coming in their
stores by the droves. The same thing happens when Oprah
does her summer favorite things show, although the fall show
is by far the most popular. The fall show will be airing
within the next couple of days.
