Ugg Boots and Ugg Slippers

I was sitting in front of the Junior High School the other
day, waiting for my daughter, when I noticed the most
peculiar thing! Now I know it is Jr. High and peculiar is
norm there, but what I noticed was their choice of footwear
- Ugg Slippers. That was boys and girls, mind you.
I guess what caught my eye is that they are the sheepskin
type like the boots that last year (and as my teen told me
this year too) were popular! We are talking slip-ons for
girls and the moccasin ones for boys.
You might recognize the name - they are the makers of those
Australian sheepskin boots that have been off-the-chart
popular for a few years - they're back again this year. Ugh
boots worn with leggings or skinny jeans tucked in and a big
bulky sweater are the hit!
But in all fairness, these are cool, fashionable and even
comfy shoes. You must treat yourself at the end of a long
day (or at the beginning!) with these. A popular style is
Scuffette UGG Slippers. They're made of soft, cozy sheepskin
that keeps your feet warm during winter months and offers
moisture-wicking comfort in the summer.
The slip-ons are classy with the sheepskin cuffs and cool
stitching on the top. The soles are made out of suede and
have the UGG logo on the slipper, which is a great place for
all to see.
So while you are shopping, I am sure you will want to be
sure to spiffy up your boots by purchasing a new pair of
Uggs. With winter around the corner, boots are a must for
all closets. However, don't limit your imagination to winter
as I have seen these being worn adorably with shorts. They
look so cute! Seems like a great buy for what is an
all-year-long shoe.
Now I must go on record saying I never give into the teens
age old adage "Mom I won't fit in if I don't have them". So
in order to maintain my respectability as a parent, I will
concede because they are sensible shoe wear. (And boy are
