About Eyelid Surgery

Our eyes are referred to as the windows of the soul and we
often feel ill at ease when we meet someone who will not

Unfortunately though, operations on the upper eyelid can
cause bruising and swelling not long after surgery. The fat
and muscle layers behind the eyelid are often removed if the
patient has a heavy and swollen eyelid.

Not everyone jumps at the chance to have eyelid surgery and
some individuals are considering using collagen or one of
its alternatives injected instead. Not all eyelid surgery is
a success and in these cases to improve the definition
around the eye and eyelid area, permanent makeup or Micro
pigmentation treatment is used. Another use of Micro
pigmentation is how it can alter the look of an eye to make
it look more symmetrical without any need for surgery.

High blood pressure consists of two numbers. The top reading
is the systolic number and the bottom number is the

your pimples While this might seem like a good way of
getting rid of the unsightly whiteheads, this can lead to

you touch your face, you transfer acne forming dirt and
oils. If you must touch your face, be sure to wash your
hands first.

What you choose for your diet can be an important step in

some research to suggest that ingesting a good portion of
healthy omega 3 fatty acids can lead to better skin. Omega 3

If things get really bad, you might need to go see a
dermatologist. They can provide you with treatments that
might work better for your needs. Of course, these often

The Mystic History of Acai Berry

Dell 3100cn - A Favorable Printer For The Home Office

The Dell Laser Printer 3100cn has a reasonable price, strong
performance, and good image quality. It is a network printer
that comes with a 250 sheet paper drawer as standard
equipment, making it even more of a value. The Dell 3100cn
is a flexible printer with many of connectivity options and
support for Windows, Mac, and Linux computers. This printer
comes with a standard 64MB of RAM that can support a small
office with about 10 people. Be sure to also look for Dell
3100cn toner.

Dell 3100cn toner cartridges are rated for 4000 pages.
Replacement cartridges have a price that is very good when
you look at the output that it can provide. Those prices
should make the 3100cn economical to run. You can stretch
costs further by buying the cartridges in packs of four from

The Dell 3100cn a main paper drawer that holds 250 sheets,
and has a 150 sheet tray behind a folding door in the front

The Dell 3100cn's black-and-white printing is excellent.
Text is crisp and is not overly heavy or too light. The
smallest fonts remained clear. Line art looks perfect, and
grayscale photographs showed sharp details and smooth tonal
conversions. Graphics output is quite precise. Text prints
at a speedy 17.8 pages a minute. This is a very good speed
for this class of printer.

The Dell 3100cn weighs about 72 pounds, but has great output
which obviously is of high quality, and the fast grayscale
speeds are a big plus for this machine. This color laser
printer does a very good job at printing; the color graphics
are outstanding, with the photographic precision that you
would expect from an inkjet, without the smeared edges. The
printing of black text which is the most common use for an
office printer excels well above the norm. The Dell 3100cn
has a 22ppm grayscale text speed which shows that this Dell
can do very well in a heavy text printing situation,
especially in a workgroup.

The three front mounted buttons below the LCD screen: menu
and cancel buttons and a select button surrounded with
four-way arrow keys turn any adjustment you need to make
into an easy to control work panel. Some of the commands and
settings may take more than one step, but still for all the
functions that it gives you this still makes the Dell 3100cn

The latest popular trend in cosmetics is mineral makeup. The
idea of mineral makeup is over thirty years old, but it
wasn't until the last few years that this new trend has
begun to take over. Countless cosmetics companies have
developed their own lines of this makeup whose ingredients
come from the earth's natural minerals.

When choosing a brand, you should be very careful and wary
of imitation products that claim to be made from all-natural
mineral ingredients, but aren't. Many companies are just
trying to profit from a hot, new trend, instead of offering
the real thing. Since any makeup containing minerals can be
marketed as "mineral makeup", you need to take a close look

If you've got dry skin it's annoying isn't it? What causes
dry skin? What can you do about it? Here's 8 dry skin causes
and their solutions.

There are a wide range of factors that can produce dry skin.
Some are more rare than others.

You'd be surprised at how common dry skin conditions are,
and how many people are searching for dry skin treatments.
Some conditions are easy to treat, some not so easy.

And dry skin can be so irritating. You skin can be dull and
flaky, red, swollen and painful. And really really itchy.

Normal skin has it's own layer of naturally occurring oils.
These are produced by the skin and help protect our skin.
But when this layer of protective oils is removed for one
reason or another it causes the symptoms known as dry skin.

So lets have a look at dry skin causes and treatments. Some
are easier to treat than others.

1. Long hot baths. Now of course like most women you love
that bath as hot as you can stand it and for as long as you
have the time. But that bath is stripping away those natural
skin oils. A shower is better, not for as long and not as
hot.

2. Skin care products and cosmetics. Believe it or not, many
mainstream skin care products and cosmetics contain
ingredients that are actually bad for your skin. If you
hadn't heard about this before spend some time researching
dangerous ingredients in skin care products and cosmetics.

Many ingredients actually dry our skin. An example is
mineral oil. Mineral oil is a petrochemical product (ie
derived from crude oil) and damages your skin, but is used
because it is cheap.

High quality natural skin care products are way better for
your skin, won't damage it and will overcome dry skin
conditions more easily.

3. Exposure to the sun. Sunburn can easily strip your skin
of natural oils. It also damages your skin in other ways,

often signs of soaps that will dry your skin. Look for

6. Medical conditions like psoriasis, and drugs. There is a
range of different medical conditions that can cause dry
skin. For conditions like psoriasis and eczema consult your
doctor, and be aware as well that there are some drugs that
can also cause dry skin conditions.

7. Believe it or not itchy clothing can cause dry skin. So
if your clothing itches junk it.

So, those are 7 dry skin causes, what dry skin treatments
are there? Well of course it goes without saying that for
medical conditions you ought to see a doctor. But in many
cases this isn't necessary.

I have already suggested some dry skin treatments that will
work for some. Keep showers shorter and cooler, use more
natural soaps and shampoos, try soaps out until you find a
good one for you. And be aware of choosing natural
alternatives to any product that you put on your skin. They
are often cheaper and safer.

And consider using a range of natural skin care products.
The best natural skin care products contain natural oils
like avocado oil and Babassu oil from the nut of the Babassu
tree, both excellent and perfectly safe natural
moisturizers. These will do wonders for any dry skin
conditions.

It may sound counter intuitive but the best natural skin

Don't Mix Unsafe Cosmetics And Teenage Girls

Most people don't know that there are many big brand
cosmetics that contain nasty or downright dangerous
ingredients. There is now a study showing the effect of
dangerous cosmetics on teenage girls, that might prompt you
to look for safe cosmetics next time you shop.

A recent study found lead in lipsticks. Over 50% of
lipsticks tested had lead in them and there are other nasty
and unsafe ingredients in our cosmetics.

Isn't lead really dangerous? Yes it is and it shouldn't be
in our lipsticks, but the FDA doesn't regulate it so it's
there. And it's the same with skin care products and anti
aging products and personal and body care and beauty
products too.

And when we use these products the ingredients soak in don't
they? And so they go straight into our bloodstream. When you
put on that blush or rouge some of it goes into our blood.

That's because our skin is porous and what we put onto it
soaks in and ends up in our bodies rather than just on our
skin. Moisturizers, for example, are rubbed in a disappear.

harmless, but what if they're not?

And now a new study has begun to ask whether our teenage
daughters should be using some cosmetics. The Campaign for
Safe Cosmetics tells us the results of the study.

body care products."

Now does that scare you if you have daughters? And of
course teenage girls use more cosmetics than just about
anyone else.

And now there's a study by the Environmental Working Group
which found suspect chemicals (phthalates, parabens,
triclosan and musks) in the urine of young girls from 14 to
20 who took part in the study.

Some of these were found in the body of every single girls
tested in the study.

Adolescence, of course, is a time when the maturing female
body is growing fast and dealing with hormonal changes, and
girls of this age do not want to be loading their bodies
with potentially toxic chemicals.

The chemicals tested for are considered to be hormone
altering chemicals, and so it raises some questions about
the implications of teenage girls using cosmetics and skin
care products and also possibly acne treatments where there
is a good chance they could be loading their systems with
these chemicals.

No one knows what the implications are but it's an area of
reproductive health that we shouldn't be playing with.

Either way, do we want our children taking these unknown
risks with common cosmetics and skincare and other personal
and body care products?

That may worry you, but there is a safe alternative. There
are excellent companies making safe cosmetics that are very
effective, and safe and effective skin care products as
well, neither of which contain any dangerous chemicals.

But these aren't the big brand name companies, they're small
niche companies that can't possibly compete with the big
brands on marketing, and don't try, so you never see them
advertising on TV. And you won't find any of their products
on the shelf of your local store.

But you need to search to find them, if you do there are
excellent companies making safe cosmetics and very effective

Developments in high heels modify swiftly and women want to
put on the latest designs. High heels make women look
taller, slimmer and more persuasive. But the cost a woman
has to pay to wear high heels can be very high. It's not the
price of the high heels, but the destruction they can do to
the feet that needs to be evaded. When wearing high heels
the pressure is on the toes and the balls of the feet. If
pointed high heels are in trend there is very little you can
do to avoid getting a pair.

Well before you can make your high heels more relaxed, make
certain you purchase the accurate high heels. Be wise when
shopping for high heels. First, make sure to get your feet
measured when you go to shop for high heels. This may sound
insane, but feet do grow larger with time and in pregnancy.
Try and purchase a pair that has round toes.

Avoid buying pointed toes high heels if you can. If you have
feet that are wide then ask for a wider pair. Try on the

heels ready now you have to prepare your feet also.

Remember extensive wear of high heels can origin blisters,
calluses and corns on your feet. You certainly don't want to
be seen limping in your high heels.

So take some band aid or moleskin squares and put them on
your feet. Cover them around your toes, the sides of your
feet and most notably on your heels. It's the toes, the
heels and the balls of the feet that get injured wearing
high heels. So protecting these areas is going to keep your
feet from getting damaged.

Also apply a cream or lotion on the feet to make them
malleable and agile. Sometimes it even makes logic to pat
some oil on the inner shell of the high heels to make the
leather elastic. But you only do this when you are not using
the high heels. If you follow these simple tips then you can
guard your feet from getting damaged by wearing high heels.

Getting a flat stomach is something most people long for.
Most people get the impression they are stuck with terrible
genetics, and they will never be able to get the body of
